Your heritage exploration begins with a visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a historic site filled with palaces, temples, and courtyards from the time of the Malla kings. Here, you’ll also see the residence of the Living Goddess Kumari, a unique cultural tradition.
From kathmandu Durbar Square, you'll drive up to Swayambhunath Stupa (commonly known as the Monkey Temple), an ancient Buddhist shrine perched on a hill offering panoramic views of the valley.
From Swyambhunath, we will visit Patan Durbar Square, known for its exquisite Newar architecture, stone sculptures, and ancient temples. Found in the city of Lalitpur (Patan), this square is known for its fine Newari craftsmanship, with stone and metal statues, temples, and palace buildings. The Krishna Temple, made entirely of stone, is a masterpiece of Nepali architecture.
