Take a break from the crowded streets of the city of Venice. This tour is unique because it takes place on a beautiful typical Venetian boat: the bragozzo. The Bragozzo is a boat of even older origins than the gondola (it can be seen in many paintings by the most famous Venetian painters such as Raphael, Canaletto, Guardi, Longhi). A real piece of the city's history. Thanks to its flat bottom it can navigate in practically any area of the lagoon, even those where the seabed is shallower and allow you to discover unique places off the usual tourist routes. The navigation is very comfortable and the boat has an awning to protect you from the sun. Furthermore, the staff on board has a profound knowledge of the lagoon and its places and will provide you with stories and anecdotes of Venice, its islands and its lagoon during navigation.
You can visit the beautiful island of Burano, see its colorful houses, taste the island's typical biscuits and the delicious bussolai, see its leaning bell tower and visit one of the many lace shops.
You can visit the island famous for glass production and see the magnificent mosaics of the San Donato cathedral. If you want you can visit an artistic glass furnace for free where you can freely access and see the master glassmakers at work.
We will pass next to the beautiful island of San Francesco del Deserto where the Franciscan monastery from the 1200s stands. An enchanted place out of time where, on request, you can stop (open to visitors from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 11am and from 3pm to 5pm)
You will make your own way to the meeting points
