Xochimilco

Known as the floating gardens of Mexico City, the Xochimilco canals are the vestiges of the canals that were used in pre-Hispanic times for navigation and trade with the Mexica. Dazzle yourself with the breathtaking sunrise or sunset views and know everything about the construction of this cultivation system, all aboard a trajinera (type of flat-bottomed roofed canoe).

Discover one of Mexico’s most picturesque neighborhoods, where artists and historical figures lived. Here you can only get to know outside the house that Frida Kahlo lived in, Coyoacan Center, Church of San Juan el Bautista, the house of Hernán Cortes and taste a traditional coffee if you like.
