What's included in 15-Day Peru Tour from Lima Including Paracas, Arequipa and Puno

(Subject to Option Inclusions)

Your English-speaking guide is waiting to take you to your hotel when you arrive at the Lima airport, where you might want to turn in early — Day 2 begins at 6:30 with a 3.5-hour bus ride from Lima to Paracas. Spend the night in Paracas, and on Day 3 head to port for a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands. After returning to shore, take a bus to Nazca where you'll spend the night. Day 4 is up in the air–literally–as you see the Nazca Lines from above during a 30-minute airplane tour. After you land, bus to Arequipa and get settled into your lodgings.

Tour the beautiful Ciudad Blanca ("White City") on Day 5, then on Day 6 take a comfortable 6-hour bus ride from Arequipa to your hotel in Puno. Day 7 is another watery adventure: a guided tour of the Uros Islands in Lake Titicaca before wrapping up the day back in Puno. On Day 8, travel by a special long-distance bus to arrive at Cusco around 5:30pm.

Explore Cusco on your own during the morning of Day 9, then visit the Temple of the Sun and four other archaeological sites in the afternoon. On Day 10, see the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visiting the archaeological site of Pisac, a colorful Andean market, and a traditional church. Stop for lunch in Urubamba, then marvel at the ancient site of Ollantaytambo in the afternoon before finishing the day with a visit to the picturesque Andean village of Chinchero.

Take the early-morning train from Cusco to Aguas Calientes on Day 11, and spend the day exploring the little town–and its hot springs–closest to Machu Picchu. Day 12 is spent at the iconic Machu Picchu. Take the bus from Aguas Calientes in the morning, then enjoy a 2-hour guided tour around the citadel. Spend the rest of the day exploring on your own, then head back to Cusco at 4pm. On Day 13, you'll have a free day in Cusco before flying to Lima on Day 14. Spend the night at your Lima hotel, then enjoy a comfortable transfer to the Lima Airport on Day 15 to conclude your epic tour.
