An unforgettable and adventurous interactive experience with trained raptors is something one does not experience many times in one’s lifetime. Something not to be missed!
Guests will be able to experience an unforgettable encounter with a trained bird of prey up close and personal. This is truly a unique experience. The customers will meet me at the parking lot next to Allschwilerweiher on the outskirts of Basel and directly on tramline number 8. Following a short safety briefing, we will continue into the forest, with the hawk following us. Each customer will be able to call the magnificent bird to the fist with a falconer's glove and experience the beauty of this animal up close.

What's included in 1 Hour Falconry/Hawk Experience in Basel Region
(Subject to Option Inclusions)We will meet on the parking and I will first explain a few things about the bird(s) including a small safety briefing as well as information on keeping birds of prey, the equipment used and training techniques as well as modern day application of falconry as a profession and lifestyle. We will then continue together into the forest where we will allow the hawk to fly free and follow us as we are walking through the forest. Falconry gloves will be distributed and everyone will be able to call the hawk to your glove while he is in free flight. Selfies with the hawk are almost obligatory;) Everyone can ask questions about falconry which is a world unesco heritage and has a tradition of over 4’000 years. After about 30 minutes in the forest we will start to head back to the car park with the hawk. A truly unforgettable experience with a magnificent animal.

- We will meet at the parking next to “Allschwiler weihe” pond. It’s super easy to find either by public transport (1 minute walk from tram number 8 last stop “neuweilerstrasse” or by car. Many parking spaces are available. Then look for the English guy with the hawk on his arm :)
