The tour consists of a tour of the facilities in which the wine process is explained and a little of our history, it is a pleasant, didactic visit that usually enjoys all kinds of public. Later we offer a paired tasting of three of our wines with three appetizers, if possible on our terrace, but inside. Regardless of the visit you can taste the full range of our wines and a selection of tapas in the relaxed atmosphere of our Wine Bar, open daily from 11:30 to 15:30. No need to book.
If you visit Bodegas TIHOM, in the heart of the Haro Station Quarter, you will live an intimate, authentic and personal experience. It's not a conventional visit. There are no large groups or pre-arranged routes here: each visit is adapted to the visitor, and the attention is direct, usually by Jorge Muga or someone very close to the project. During the visit, you will tour the small winery, where everything is done calmly, precisely and with respect for wine. You’ll see how Rioja’s minority varieties work – like Grenache Blanca, Maturana Blanca, Graciano or Mazuelo – and you’ll get up close and personal with their understanding of viticulture and processing: a philosophy that focuses on the difficult, the singular and the deeply Riojan, without clichés. You will also taste the wines in a welcoming space, where you can talk without haste about each of them, about the origin of the grapes, about the decisions that mark their character and about the history of TIHOM: a recent history, but with deep roots in tradition. Bottom line: if you come to TIHOM, you won’t just visit a winery. You will take a conversation, a memory, a wine and a place where everything makes sense.
Perfect pairing with our TIHOM White wines, both wine and dish share minerality and saltiness aggrandising each other.
