Enjoy an exhilarating experience at Fundación Loros, a 1,000-acre sanctuary of tropical dry forest. Begin with a traditional breakfast by the lake, followed by an engaging talk from expert biologists on parrot and macaw rehabilitation. You’ll help prepare and deliver food to rescued birds, connecting with their recovery process. Then, board a Pioneer 700 UTV to explore vibrant forest habitats, spotting parrots, monkeys, and other native wildlife as you ascend to a panoramic summit. Along the way, you’ll harvest cassava and papaya with local farmers and learn about sustainable practices rooted in tradition. Before the journey ends, you’ll plant a native tree—leaving a lasting contribution to the regeneration of this fragile ecosystem. Finally, enjoy a seasonal fruit snack and a refreshing drink in nature. Important: We do not feed or touch the animals. All activities are guided by trained staff in a rehabilitation center—not a zoo. To fully enjoy the views and observe wildlife along the route, the UTV will be driven by trained guides.
