This is a private tour. No stangers or others are in your booking. Your guide is a local born & bred West Australian with considerable experience in the locations we visit.
The focus of this tour is the point where the Indian and the Southern Oceans meet. The guided tour of the Leeuwin Lighthouse itself is optional. A heritage pass to the grounds of the lighthouse and viewing where the oceans meet applies at minimal cost.
Other locations can be added with some consultation on request.
Specially selected small towns add interest to this big day in the Margaret River region.
If children are included we can include some of the most beautiful beaches in the world along the coast.
A brief stop at the Margaret River and Busselton Township is included in this tour. Cave tours are not options in this tour as they are lengthy and impact on other destinations.
Pickup included
The Crooked Carrot is the first short stretch stop of the tour as we head south from Perth. This small cafe has grown into a must see stop if kids are involved or simply to grab a coffee or snack for the journey. Playgrounds and climbing frames, old trams and tractors and a beautifully maintained working kitchen garden are all there.
The Glenarty road winery & restaurant is located along the way to the Leeuwin Lighthouse and provides an optional stop for a wine tasting or a light lunch.
A Heritage pass is required to enter the grounds and interactive centre of the Leeuwin Lighthouse. This enables us to see where the Indian & Southern Oceans meet. There is a small $4 - $6 Aud fee not included in this tour cost. The Leeuwin Lighthouse guided Tour is optional (not included in tour cost)
