We will visit the Archaeological Park of Cuma (Acropolis of Cuma): the first Greek colony in the West, the Delphic cult and the Apollonian cult, the lunar calendars at the Sybil's Cave and the power of Augustus, the archaeological traces of the first Christians in the temples .
After a historical introduction that will illustrate to the tour participants historical curiosities regarding the importance of the archaeological park, we will proceed towards the Sybil's Cave, which is an artificial gallery from the Greco-Roman era, found following the archaeological excavations of the ancient city of Cuma: it is identified as the place within which the Sibilla Cumana worked and disseminated her oracles.
After visiting the Sybil's cave, the guide will accompany you for another two hours in the park and will take you back in time, talking to you about the strategic importance that this place has had in history, during the visit you will see the Roman Crypta with the cisterns, the Terrace on the Forest of Cuma, the Temple of Apollo, the Temple of Jupiter and you will take a walk along the Via Sacra which is located in the holm oak forest in the park.
