The tour starts at the Asakusa Culture and Tourism Center! Kaminarimon-mae is crowded with tourists, but it is comfortable here. Enjoy the Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple from a slightly higher vantage point.
Kaminarimon is a landmark building of Sensoji, Asakusa and Tokyo. Take pictures of the beautiful vermilion-lacquered gate with huge lanterns hanging from it.
After passing through the Kaminarimon gate and walking for a while, you will come to the Hozomon gate. This is the best place to view the five-story pagoda as well as the main hall of Sensoji Temple from here.
