We continue with a walk to the hilltop of Pyrgos, a village with a distinctly medieval character that served as the island’s capital until the early 19th century.
After that, we drive south in order to reach the archeological site of the prehistoric city of Akrotiri. One hour of free time to see and visit the excavations of the best-preserved prehistoric settlement of Aegean.
Our next stop is a traditional winery for tasting and presentation of Santorini’s local wines. We will step on the ancient vineyard and get interesting info for the special “terroir” of Santorini. Now it is time for relaxation by the beach (swimming and lunch). Presentation and tasting of a variety of local tapas (meze)
