Santa Prisca is the most emblematic symbol of Taxco, it was built between 1751 and 1758 commissioned by José de la Borda, a wealthy miner who made his fortune with the silver extracted in the region.
Located in the historic center of Cuernavaca, its construction began in the 16th century, around 1529, the murals that adorn the walls of the church represent religious and mythological scenes of the period of evangelization.
