The train ride is the most popular in Curitiba and the region! Set aside a day for the tour and enjoy it.
In the morning you will visit Antonina, a friendly little historic port town and then go to friendly Morretes, famous for its gastronomy and the Nhundiaquara River.
Typical lunch included in one of the best restaurants in Morretes and free time to walk through the picturesque streets there.
In the afternoon, return by train from Morretes to Curitiba. You will pass through a railway with incredible landscapes and a lot of history. It takes approximately 4 hours on the train up Serra do Mar, through the largest preserved area of the Atlantic Forest in Brazil. You will pass through tunnels and bridges and the guides will tell you a little about the challenge of building this railway between 1880 and 1885. To this day it is an engineering masterpiece!
The train category is tourist, which has a guide only in Portuguese. The van guide also only speaks Portuguese.

The journey normally takes place via the historic Estrada da Graciosa, unless the road is under construction or it is raining a lot.
You will have a scenic tour of the city of Antonina, usually with a stop at the Bananina banana candy factory and the historic center of Antonina to explore.
You will have free time in Morretes to walk around the small town of Morretes. See the Nhundiaquara River, the Main Church, the fair with typical products, the colonial houses and the craft and local product stores.
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
