Join us for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! This tour, offered only during the turtle season June-October, allows you to witness firsthand turtle eggs being laid at night. It is an exclusive opportunity here in the Caribbean region of Latin America. Tortuguero is the ancestral beach where the Green Sea Turtle and other species of sea turtles have spawned on the beach since time immemorial. Meet your tour guide at the office before walking to the beach to observe sea turtles. Your guide will provide information and answer questions as you wait for turtle spotters to signal for your group to approach. You will have the opportunity to observe turtles laying eggs, covering the nest, camouflaging, and returning to sea. *Although it is possible to see these processes, it is not guaranteed*
