The main temple in Phuket Visit Phuket's Big Buddha, this is one of the most important landmarks on the island. The huge image sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and, at 45 metres tall, can be seen from as far away as Phuket Town and Karon Beach and Kata Beach. A must visit Place Visit Pearl Factory Visit Wangtalang Lapidary gem factory. Get some refreshment (soft drinks, coffee or tea). Visit Cashew Nut factory and shopping for local products. Return back to the hotel
