Your walking tour starts at Altare della Patria a.k.a. Vittoriano in Piazza Venezia, one of the largest monuments in Rome. The guide will begin with a short introduction, so you know exactly what to expect.
The Capitoline Hill is the most important of the seven hills of Rome. A stunning view of the Roman Forum opens up from the top of the hill.
Via dei Fori Imperiali
Walk down Capitoline Hill to the grand boulevard that runs through the Roman Forums. Via dei Fori Imperiali was made to link Piazza Venezia Square to the Colosseum and offers a great view of the Trajan's Markets, the Forum of Augustus, and the ancient political heart of Rome.
