Ease into your Portugal vacation with a visit to the most romantic villages of Sintra and the beach destinations of Cascais and Estoril – all just a short 20-minute drive from Lisbon. Spend the day journeying through a variety of plants and trees until you uncover the trails to the Royal Pena National Palace, a gorgeous Moorish landmark built on the ruins of a 16th century monastery overlooking stunning vistas surrounding the Portuguese capital. Settle down for a short break in old Sintra, where you will get to try the delicious local pastries like the Travesseiro and Queijada. The tour continues on with a photo opportunity at the staggering Roca Cape cliffs, easily famous as the western most point of Europe. The lowlands consist of the beautiful Lisbon coastline; walking down the hill, you will pass by the Guinho beach. Move on for a quality relaxation on Cascais Bay, a delightful fishing town nearest to the capital that houses some of the finest beaches in the region where you'll have free time for lunch. The tour finishes passing by Estoril, yet another fabulous beach spot that extends to the west of Lisbon.
