Experience the immersive exhibition 'Becoming Shakespeare', a thought-provoking and illuminating exploration of the influences that helped shape a young William Shakespeare. Talk to friendly guides in the house to find out what life was like for him and the family in Tudor times, from birth through to his early childhood, helping out in his father's glove-making workshop, attending the local grammar school and starting married life here with his wife Anne Hathaway. Hear excerpts from his works performed by costumed actors in the garden, bringing alive the works of this most famous of playwrights in the grounds of his birthplace.
