Once there, as per strict Vatican rules the Catacombs are only accessible in a group of minimum 2 to a max of 15 pax, you will join in, in the tour with a professional Vatican guide. The time underground will be 45 minutes. The total duration of the tour is 3 hours. The Catacombs outside the Roman Walls, are difficult to reach without private transport.
