Rapa Nui Astrophotography and Stargazing Night Tour Combination
This photo tour combination includes a private Astrophotography tour and to be part of The Rapa Nui Stargazing Experience (shared - max 10 people).
For avid photographers and enthusiasts, our photography tours aim to get the best light at the best times. Astrophotography is one option, but we also run day photo tours (beginning before sunrise and running through to mid morning, or beginning in the afternoon and running through to sunset).
Even if you are still learning, we can help you optimize the use of your camera by giving insights into composition and use of camera settings. You will be with a knowledgeable guide who will also be able to tell you about the history of the island, although more focus is on the photography.
We recommend choosing one site per night as transportation from Hanga Roa to the site and back is 1 hour approximately. We can do both places (Anakena & Ahu Tongariki) for Stars to Sunrise tours and more places on Day Photo tours.

Additional Information
Stargazing is a shared excursion and we meet in front of Katipare library (approx time 19:30 winter / 20:30 summer). Astrophotography is a private tour that includes hotel pick up.
Meeting Points
- We meet travelers in front of Katipare library. This is on the corner or the main street (Atamu Tekena) and Te Pito o Te henua street.
End Points
- We will drop you off at your lodging at the end of the tour.
