We will start from Syntagma/Constitution square, which is fundamentally connected with the first official Greek Constitution and political developments in the 19th and 20th centuries. As we stand at the upper part of the square we see right in front of us the Greek Parliament which until 1922 used to be the Old Palace for the ex-kings and queens of Greece. We cross the road to get closer to where the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier lies in front of the Parliament. We return to Syntagma square to tell the story of the luxurious Grande Bretagne Hotel.

Τhe Old Parliament was built in 1875 by the French architect Francois Boulanger, housed the Greek parliament for 60 years and now houses the National Historic Museum.
