Over six hundred varieties of roses bloom here from June to October, turning the whole place into a dreamland. Here one can also admire the charming castle along with the Lakes Zurich and Obersee. The castle was built in the early 13th century on a rocky hilltop. It is surrounded by the present cemetery chapel and the former Stadtmuseum of Rapperswil.
Vaduz
The most important landmark of this city is Vaduz Castle itself, which is the palace and official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein. It was constructed in the 12th and underwent a major restoration in the 20th centuries. Unfortunately, it is closed to the public eyes as the princely family still lives there.
