When you think of Cape Town, you think of Table Mountain. Another highlight of this tour is the iconic Table Mountain, which will be our last stop. The mountain is rich in diverse wildlife, including rare species that can only be found in this area. The mountain forms part of Table Mountain National Park which is globally recognised for its biodiversity with its truly unique and incredibly beautiful fauna and flora. At the upper cable station, you will find a network of footpaths to explore the table top. Get your camera ready, though. The views are simply stunning all around the top of the mountain. Table Mountain stands tall and proud as an iconic natural wonder in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. With its breathtaking views, diverse flora and fauna and historical significance, Table Mountain is perhaps best known for its flat top which, because it resembles a table top, has garnered the mountain its now famous name. Cable car operation is also weather dependent.
Muizenberg is recognised for its long wide expanse of sandy beach with kid-friendly waves, colourful huts that are used as changing rooms and has the added bonus of warmer water for bathers, another opportunity for your camera to be active. Because it has a sand bottom and gentle rolling waves, perfect for beginner surfers, it is one of the reasons why it is a perfect place to learn to surf. Behind Muizenberg beach are added extras like miniature putt-putt and the super-tube (waterslide). who knows, you may spot the Humpback Brydes Whale here (January – May) or the majestic Southern Right Whales (June – December).
