Sabuga fountain: a beautiful fountain located in the heart of Sintra. The waters of this fountain are historicaly believed to be medicinal and flow from fresh springs up in the mountain. This fountain also tell us about a tragedy that afftected Portugal in the XVIII Century, as well as an important and decisive time for the rule of the Portuguese crown.
Cascata dos Pisões (the Fountain of Lovers) is a charming waterfall located just before Quinta da Regaleira of Sintra. In front of this waterfall, a wall and a stone bench are the perfect frame for a photo of a couple. Moss emerald limestone walls, surrounding it, are also favored by couples to carve their names into eternity.
