Fajã dos Padres viewpoint - lies by the sea, at the bottom of a smooth, vertical and flat rockface, of around 300m in height. This small area of cultivated land (known as a fajã) is situated just west of Cabo Girão on Madeira’s south coast.
Since its renovation in 2012, a suspended glass platform, or skywalk, adds to the thrill. The platform is similar as the one looking over the Grand Canyon in the US. Hence, the place offers fabulous views of the Southwest Coast with the bay of Camara de Lobos.
Boca dos Namorados (Valentine's viewpoint)was for many years a crossing point for those who wanted to move down to Nun's Valley, due to the pedestrian path that connects these two points.
