From Geysir we continue to Gullfoss Waterfall (about 15 min drive). Gullfoss is located in Iceland's Hvítá River canyon, is a formidable natural wonder. With a two-tiered drop, it descends into a deep gorge, generating a thunderous roar. The name "Golden Falls" alludes to the waterfall's golden-brown sediment-laden waters. Gullfoss is a key attraction along the Golden Circle, and its awe-inspiring force and scenic beauty make it a must-see destination for nature enthusiasts and visitors exploring Iceland's geological wonders.
