You will be picked up from your accommodation in Cairo and drive to the Egyptian Museum, the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East and a historical monument. See the largest collection of pharaonic antiquities in the world. The museum displays an extensive collection stretching from the pre-dynastic period to the Greco-Roman era.

After the museum visit, enjoy lunch at a local reliable restaurant. Then you will then visit Cairo's old bazaar, the Khan el Khalili. Small streets, beautiful architecture and a huge range of products from copper lamps and candlesticks to silver jewellery, spices and jewellery, the Khan el Khalili is quite an experience to walk through.

Coptic Cairo

Finally to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and the Church of Abu Serga. The hanging church consists of a courtyard divided into four wings, separated by three rows of marble columns. The name arose because the church was built on the ruins of the old Roman fortress. The Hanging Church is known for the icons that adorn its walls. The oldest dates from the fifteenth century AD. The Abu Serga Church is also known as the Church of Saint Sergius and Bacchus. The church is characterized by its unique architectural and artistic elements.
