Her passion for food, cooking and spices has taken her on a mission to demystify the cuisine of India, Persia and the Near East. A warm and fun host, Naina is excited to help guests experience the joy in making and enjoying chaat (Indian street food) as well as Indian-inspired Southern dishes. During this fun and interactive experience, you will get hands-on training from a local chef.

What's included in Private Atlanta Cooking Class with a Fun Local Chef Naina

(Subject to Option Inclusions)

In this hands-on Indian cooking class in Atlanta, learn to make 2-3 dishes, such as chaat (a vibrant Indian street food), an Indian-inspired Southern main, and dessert. Naina, a passionate cook, will guide you in cooking intuitively, using your senses to develop flavors. The 2-hour experience includes creating dishes from scratch, and after cooking, you’ll sit down to enjoy the meal with Naina. Wine or beer is included, and when available, her husband Cyrus, a beer enthusiast, and their two children join in. For an added experience, choose a market tour option with Naina at either Your Dekalb Farmer’s Market or Cherian’s, an authentic Indian grocery. Your market tour lasts about an hour. Naina will give you an insight into Indian spices, produce, and grains, and drive you 10-min to her home in Decatur, an Atlanta suburb, to begin your cooking class. After your culinary adventure, we recommend taking a stroll through one of Atlanta's top attractions, like the World of Coca-Cola or the beautiful Botanical Garden.
