Start at the Visitor Center to learn about Andrew Jackson's life and pick up some souvenirs. Then, take a guided tour of the mansion where Jackson lived. It’s full of cool artifacts and gives you a look into his personal and political life. After that, visit the garden and Jackson's tomb, which is peaceful and beautifully designed by his wife, Rachel. There’s also a stop at the slave quarters, where you can learn about the lives of enslaved people who worked on the plantation. Then, check out the farm and fields to see how Jackson ran the plantation. The tour also includes a quick visit to the church Jackson built, which has an interesting backstory. If you have extra time, there’s a nature trail and garden area to explore the property further.
