Then we'll have a chance to walk around the 19th-century Lednice Palace and Gardens.

Start your eventful day with a visit to one of the most unusual and thought-provoking sights in the Czech Republic—the Sedlec Ossuary, also known as the "Bone Church", in Kutná Hora. This UNESCO-listed chapel is famously decorated with the bones of over 40,000 people, arranged into elaborate designs, including chandeliers, coats of arms, and pyramids of skulls. As we explore the interior of this small Gothic chapel, we’ll learn about the origins and symbolism behind the Ossuary, reflecting on its powerful message about mortality, remembrance, and the cycle of life. Stroll through the picturesque town of Mikulov, exploring the historic Mikulov Castle, which offers stunning views and fascinating exhibitions about the region’s rich history. As we wander through the charming town square, we will admire colorful Baroque and Renaissance buildings, have lunch and soak in the vibrant local atmosphere. Nestled in the heart of a renowned wine region, we will also have the chance to enjoy exceptional wine tastings in Mikulov’s many local cellars and wine bars, where we can savor the area’s celebrated vintages. Learn about the centuries-old wine growing traditions in Mikulov area and have the pleasure of tasting the famous local wine (optional, wine tasting is not included in the price of the tour).
We’ll have the opportunity to stroll through the breathtaking gardens of Lednice Palace, one of the most beautiful and renowned landscapes in Central Europe. As we explore this impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site, we’ll walk through elegantly landscaped gardens, charming ponds, and romantic pathways. Along the way, we’ll see highlights such as the Palm House, a historic greenhouse filled with exotic plants, and the ornamental Minaret, an unusual yet striking 60-meter-high tower offering panoramic views over the estate. The grounds also feature graceful bridges, sculptures, and hidden garden pavilions, adding to the fairy-tale atmosphere. Lednice offers a unique blend of history, nature, and architectural beauty, making it an unforgettable experience for visitors.
