It is the oldest street of the city of Palermo. It was Phoenicians who traced the road that divided the city in two parts and connected the old port to the necropolis that was out Palermo.
The cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Palermo, located in Palermo, Sicily, southern Italy. It is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.

- In the afternoon tours from 2pm the meeting point is in Via Maqueda 172, right in front of the entrance to the Università degli Studi di Palermo Scienze Giuridiche ed Economico-sociali.
- In the morning time the meeting spot is in Porta Nuova, Palermo. We meet right in front of the Arch, on the Corso Calatafimi side.
