In this guided tour you will get a chance to see the oldest part of Ohrid, and to have a cooking experience. The exploration through its magnificent architecture will sure give you an experience you'll never forget! I will share with you many stories while walking. We will start the walking tour from the main squire and go first on the presentation of filigree. Next, we are going on presentation of handmade paper and our next point will be St.Sofia church, one of the biggest and oldest churches in Ohrid. Next point will be presentation of famous Ohrid pearls, and continuing to Ancient Theatre where you will be fascinated of the view of the lake Ohrid . After walking tour the travelers will be picked up by car and transported to the nearby farmhouse (10min.driving) to participate in cooking of traditional meal named "komat" by hands on kneading and then of course tasting the komat while drinking macedonian wine and coffee. Then will be dropped off to the meeting point.

Ancient Theatre of Ohrid

Antique Theater is located at the foot of the eastern slope of the higher Ohrid hill, under Samuel's Fortress, near one of the main entrances to the fortified city-the Upper Gate, from where one captures the unforgettable view of the lake and the mountains that surround it. It was built more than two millennia, sometime at the end of 3rd or the beginning of 2nd century during the late Hellenism and was intended for plays, musical and poetry performances for the lovers of theater art.

National Ohrid Museum - Robevci House

In 1996, the House of Robev Family was put under protection of the Law on Protection of Cultural Monuments of the Republic of Macedonia as a valuable cultural and historical built heritage with the distinctive features of the old Ohrid architecture from the 19th century.Our guide will accompany you on each level and explaining what you'll see on each level.

Admission Ticket Included

The interior of the church has been preserved with frescoes from the 11th, 12th and 13th century, which represent some of the most significant achievements in Byzantine painting of the time. The main part of the church was built in the 11th century, while external additions were built by Archbishop Gregory II in the 14th century. Our guide will accompany you on each level and explaining what you'll see on each level.
