Neer Gaddu Waterfall is a famous waterfall located near a small trek. After enjoying the crystal clear waterfalls, you climb up more to visit a village and see the local lifestyle and Himalayan culture. You also have the opportunity to talk to the locals, have tea with them, and then head back to Rishikesh.

The route includes a blend of easy and moderate trails, starting with a 3 km walk along the Badrinath National Highway, followed by a 2 km uphill forest hike. You’ll then face a steep 3 km climb leading to the stunning Neer Garh Waterfalls, a natural oasis surrounded by lush greenery and panoramic views of the Himalayas and the Ganges River. After soaking in the refreshing ambiance and snapping beautiful photos, continue on a flat trail along the valley stream to reach Neer village, a peaceful Himalayan settlement where you’ll get a glimpse of authentic mountain life and rural traditions. Enjoy the tranquility, interact with locals if available, and then retrace your path back to Rishikesh, feeling energized by nature and culture.
