Program: 9:00 am — Welcome Meeting Greeted by the serene surroundings, participants will have a warm welcome at the workshop location. 9:15 am - History and Basics of Natural Dyes Delve into the fascinating history and fundamental principles of natural dyes, discovering the ancient techniques that have stood the test of time. 10:00 am - 1:00 pm — Textiles Preparation Engage in hands-on activities as you prepare textiles such as cotton and linen, gaining insights into the meticulous process that precedes the art of dyeing. 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Vegetarian Lunch Recharge with a delectable vegetarian lunch, crafted with locally sourced ingredients to provide a taste of the region's culinary delights. 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm — Color Extraction and Textiles Dyeing Process of extracting colors from food waste, plants, flowers, and roots indigenous to the Mediterranean bush.
