Your sailing cruise experience starts when you meet us directly at the sailing yacht (Note: Pick-up and drop-off shuttle service is optional and please contact the cruise operator after booking, if required). After about one hour of sailing, drop anchor in an unspoiled bay at the island of Rhenia for a swimming and snorkeling break off a golden sand beach. The refreshing turquoise salty waters are inviting you for a relaxing swim entering the clear sea by the yacht swimming ladder (pier facilities or tendering ashore are not available). Snorkeling gear is available on board for free use at your convenience. When you've had your fill of the water, enjoy a delicious lunch right on board featuring either Italian pasta with Greek flavored dressing and Greek Salad or a local Mediterranean style buffet and fresh local fruits, and a selection of complimentary house wine and soft drinks.
After about two hours in Rhenia Island, go ashore at Delos, the birthplace of the Apollo according to Greek mythology, for a licensed guided tour of the UNESCO-listed ruins of an ancient Greek trading and pilgrimage city (entrance fee not included). Explore the remnants of temples and marketplaces, see sacred artifacts in the museum, and hike up Mt. Kythnos for spectacular views of the island and surrounding sea. Climb back aboard the yacht in the late afternoon and start the return voyage to Mykonos, where the full-day tour concludes by saying goodbye—in Greek style—with a farewell shot drink toast.

The Cyclades - the complex of islands where Mykonos belongs to - have been geographically shaped from the phenomenon of wind called “Meltemi”. Every summer the low barometric pressure from the Balkans clashes with the higher hot blasts from Africa and in this way the north wind of “Meltemi” is formed. Thus, the wind in Mykonos is completely normal and part of the lifestyle of both locals and visitors. It will ultimately leave its mark on your own Mykonos holiday album. According to the weather during the cruise, the selected beaches for swimming are the most protected ones and less windy. After all, this is also the experience of being on a sailing yacht, setting the sails to the wind needed as it is the primary engine power. Occasionally during the season there might not be enough wind or the convenient wind direction to set sails and only in such cases, the sailing route will be motorized.
