The basic itinerary is as follows, 8:15 Meet at your Hotel in Tokyo or Chiba and move to Hamakanaya station by train. 11:05 Arrive at Hamakanaya station. Mt. Nokogiri Ropeway : From the top of Mt. Nokogiri, we can have a splendid panoramic view of Tokyo Bay and Boso Peninsula. Nihonji Temple : This temple has a history of more than 1,000 years. There are two big Buddha statues and more than 1500 small Buddha statues. Hyaku-shaku Kannon : Kannon is the Goddess of Mercy in Buddhism. Hyaku-shaku (100 shaku) means about 30 meters. That's the height of the huge stone carving of goddess Kannon. Jigoku Nozoki : The prefect photo spot to click a pic of someone standing on the actual Jigoku Nozoki. 1500 Rakan : Rakan are early disciples of Buddha who had achieved a state of perfect enlightenment. Creating rakan gardens featuring multiple rakan stone statues became very popular at temples Nihonji Daibutsu : Japan’s largest ancient Buddha stone statue.
