Hiroshima Station
It takes about forty minutes by using JR and ferry to visit Miyajima. In addition, it takes 20 minutes to walk to Itsukushima Shrine.
Itsukushima Shrine
Registered as a World Heritage site in 1996, Itsukushima Shrine is one of the few shrines in Japan with wooden structures in the sea. This beautiful and majestic shrine have long been a place of worship on Miyajima or Itsukushima, where it is said that the entire island is inhabited by gods.
Miyajima Omotesando Shopping Street
Until ferry's check in time, we can stop by the main shopping street on the island. Bustling with activity every day, it stretches about three hundred fifty meters. Visitors can enjoy Miyajima's local crafts, souvenirs, and specialty gourmet food.
