After being picked up from your meeting point we travel Meteora by bus in a small group During the 4 hours journey take in the stunning countryside as you travel and snap some photos. Visit the Hermit Caves known by the locals as the caves of Badovas. The hermit caves of Badovas are very close to Kastraki village. Between the village and the town of Kalabaka Badovas is the name of the nearby restored but abandoned Monastery dedicated to Saint Nicolas of Badovas. The caves where Hermit monks use to live an extraordinary life back in 14th century are situated between Kalbaka town and Kastraki Village. The area is surrounded by immerse rock pillars called Pyxari and Amparia and few other smaller rocks.
