Melk Abbey

After arriving to Melk, introduce yourself to the history of almost one thousand years old Benedictine Abbey. Overlooking the town of Melk, the impressive baroque-style Abbey is a home of the famous library and a final resting place of Saint Coloman, the patron saint of Austria. During the visit, you can also explore the Abbey church and the garden pavilion. After approximately 2 hours visit of Melk, continue your journey through Austrian countryside.

Dürnstein is a small town in the Wachau region of Lower Austria, known for its picturesque beauty and historic charm. It is most famous for its castle ruins, where Richard the Lionheart, King of England, was imprisoned in the 12th century. Dürnstein is a popular tourist destination, especially for those interested in history, wine, and stunning landscapes. In Dürnstein we will have approximately 3,5 hours.
