Explore the key moments of the D-Day landings in Normandy on June 6, 1944, visiting places steeped in history such as Pointe du Hoc and Omaha Beach. This tour takes you through the logistical operations that marked the Battle of Normandy, while allowing you to pay tribute to the soldiers who fell in the fighting of the Liberation of France, the American Military Cemetery of Normandy and the German Cemetery of La Cambe. The first stage of the day will take you to the remains of the artificial port of Arromanches. This formed one of the two ports set up by the Allies from the early days of Operation Overlord to supply the men and equipment of the divisions that landed on 6 June 1944.
