Tomb of Tu Duc

This is the 4th tomb in the royal family of Nguyen Dynasty in Hue former capital of Vietnam. You will visit the complex of worshiping are and royal tomb area, a lake and island, other construction were built in 3 years. This royal tomb complex wax also the second home of the Emperor Tu Duc during his experience of the leader of Vietnam. We will move to the insence and conical hat making village to see local people are making handi craft products with love and patience. The tour will be continued with a boat ride on Perfume River for a relaxation and natural landscape admiration. Tour guide will show you to the former imperial citadel and heavenly laddy pagoda and tell you the long historical story about Nguyen Family and Dynastry in Vietnam for almost 100 years. The Residence and Palaces built by the 13 Emperors of Nguyen Family. A long and rich history of Vietnam where the old capital located for 143 years. The Imperial Citadel of Hue served as the political, cultural, and religious center of the Nguyen Dynasty, the last dynasty of Vietnam. It was the capital city of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945. The citadel played a crucial role in the country's history and witnessed important events during this period. The citadel is not only a symbol of political power but also a center of cultural and artistic activities. It was a hub for literature, music, dance, and various royal ceremonies. The citadel's cultural heritage, including court music and traditional performing arts, is still celebrated and preserved today.

Hue Cultural Museum

We will visit the Huong River Museum of Ancient Pottery: The private museum houses nearly 5,000 ancient pottery artifacts, including some valuable artifacts dating from the pre-Sa Huynh culture, about 2,500 - 3,000 years ago. This is the first and only private museum in Vietnam dedicated exclusively to ancient ceramic artifacts found in a river. The Huong River Museum of Ancient Pottery is the result of the lifelong dedication and passion of Prof. Thai Kim Lan and her elder brother, late painter Thai Nguyen Ba, who spent nearly 40 years collecting and preserving pottery artifacts from the Huong River and other rivers in Hue. Talking about her aspiration, Prof. Lan said that this private museum could be considered a “primary school” about Vietnamese history and culture, passing on knowledge to the next generation. Covering about 700m2, the museum showcases over 5,000 artifacts, including a diverse range of everyday items such as stoves, jars, vases, bowls, and plates
