The Federal Administrative Court is the highest administrative court in Germany. In 14 Senates, judges decide on disputes in administrative law and provide for the further training of the law. The certified exclusive tour takes you on a journey through time through judicial history to significant judgments and historical decisions, such as the infamous 1933 Reichstag fire trial.
The tour along the cornerstone of German jurisdiction combines judicial history, architecture and the current status quo of jurisprudence.

Supreme Administrative Court
Built in the Wilhelmine imperial period in 1879 as an imperial court, the building is the judicial tradition cast in imposing architecture. In the large courtroom, impressive country coats of arms and imperial images await you. You can also learn more about the official costume that still makes federal judges recognizable today: a crimson robe with a beret. The tour guides will also introduce you to the varied use of the building, from the Art Museum during the GDR period to its return as the seat of the Federal Court in 2002.
