Humantay Lake
1. Pickup in Cusco (3:30–5:00 a.m.) The tour begins early with pickup from your accommodation in Cusco, between 3:30 and 5:00 a.m. 2. Travel to Mollepata (2.5 hours) A tour by tourist transport will take you to the town of Mollepata (2,803 m above sea level). Here, a traditional breakfast will be served. 3. Transfer to Soraypampa (1 hour) After breakfast, continue by vehicle to Soraypampa (3,900 m above sea level), the starting point of the hike. 4. Hike to Humantay Lagoon (1.5–2 hours) From Soraypampa, begin a hike of approximately 2 kilometers uphill to Humantay Lagoon. The difficulty is moderate to high. 5. Time at the lagoon (1 hour) You will have free time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and relax. 6. Return to Soraypampa and lunch in Mollepata Descend to Soraypampa and transfer to Mollepata for a buffet lunch. 7. Return to Cusco (approx. 6:00 p.m.) After lunch, return to Cusco, arriving around 6:00 p.m.
