We ride to the top of Mount Terevaka from where we have a panoramic view of the Island and the Ocean that surrounds us. Silence and stillness are the kings of the place. We will take time to watch the sunset, while our horses graze and rest near the summit. It is a landscape that invites you to meditate. But that is not all. On the way back, under the moonlight, with a gentle walk of the horse, is where the essence of Rapa Nui is found.

What's included in Horseback riding under the moonlight in Rapa Nui
(Subject to Option Inclusions)Start your activity by being picked up at your hotel. Then take a short drive to the ranch (20 minutes), enjoying the nature along the way. Here you will meet your horse and the activity guide. Once introduced and given the first instructions, we began the ascent to Terevaka. At first we crossed a eucalyptus forest where small birds live. Then we continued riding through the high mountain meadows, a perfect place to enjoy the view and the changes of tones in the sunlight. Once at the top, the horses graze and we sit down to enjoy an outdoor spectacle: a sunset in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. On the way back, the first stars appear as we ride under the moonlight. Special route for beginners. Maximum 6 people. The weather can be quite unpredictable, it is a good idea to be prepared for some rain.

Additional Information
We pick up travelers at any hotel on the island. It takes us about 20 minutes to get there, from the pick-up point to the horse place. Those who have their own vehicle can follow us from their hotel to the ranch if they wish. Our transfer vehicle is suitable for 4 to 5 people.
