Hiroshima, the city where the world’s first atomic bomb was dropped, marks the 80th years of that tragic event in 2025. Survivors from that time shared a common sentiment, saying, “We thought we would never see trees, flowers, or life again in Hiroshima for at least 75 years.” Despite the overwhelming despair, Hiroshima has made an incredible recovery, rising from the ashes of war to become a city full of green, symbolizing peace. Today, it draws visitors from all over the world.
On this tour, you will journey through Hiroshima with a local guide, learning about the city's history, why it became the first place to suffer the atomic bomb, and how it was rebuilt into the peaceful city it is today.
