Itinerary

Travel from Guadalajara city to the town of Teuchitlan, Jalisco. You will discover the most important archaeological site in the state of Jalisco and all of western Mexico. After the tour of the archaeological site, you can try the pre-Hispanic drinks of the region such as Aguamiel, Pulque, and Tejuino. After freshening up, we will visit a Pre-Hispanic Craft Workshop where musical instruments and other obsidian pieces are made. Afterward, we go directly to the De La Vega Dam to enjoy a Full Traditional Lunch in front of the lagoon. Enjoy a cultural, historical, and gastronomical experience hosted by a local expert.

Tour the archaeological site and its interpretive center accompanied by your expert guide. Inside the interpretive center (Museum), you can learn the history of the place and appreciate models, explanatory maps, archaeological pieces, and a mural on the pre-Hispanic tradition of Guachimontones made by Jorge Monroy. 500 meters from the Museum are the main structures of the archeological zone, such as tombs, ball games, and the famous circular pyramids of this culture that paid tribute to the Wind God.
