Experience the thrill of preparing the real Genoese pesto by mortar, led by the World Champion. In a green and quiet corner, a few minutes from the center, you will be welcomed in a private garden where an authentic and memorable experience will come to life. Camilla Pizzorno, winner of the World Mortar Pesto Championship, will accompany you step by step in the preparation of pesto according to the traditional recipe handed down in her family for generations. We will start with a brief introduction to the history of pesto and Ligurian gastronomic culture, and then move on to the selection of raw materials: fresh basil, Italian pine nuts (...). You will use an ancient marble mortar and a wooden pestle, just as tradition dictates, and you will create your own pesto, rediscovering ancient gestures and authentic scents. During the preparation, Camilla will share anecdotes, curiosities and valuable tips to get a perfect pesto. The atmosphere is informal and familiar: ideal for couples, families, groups of friends or solo travelers.
