Departure by bus with guide, arrival at Etna station at 1,900 m. And free time available of approximately 3 and a half hours, to admire the Silvestri craters and purchase souvenirs in a breathtaking setting. On site you can choose to purchase the cable car package, through which it is possible to reach an altitude of 2500m, or, alternatively, the 3000m package: this includes the cable car service and the 4x4 buses which allow you to reach the maximum altitude currently allowed accompanied by an authorized Alpine guide CAI. The tour will continue with a tasting of typical products in Zafferana Etnea: Customers will try honey, the traditional fruit of Etna, together with a tasting of wines, oils and preserves. Le Gole dell'Alcantara
The Alcantara Gorges are one of the most important naturalistic sites in Sicily. They are gorges up to 25 meters high and 2 meters wide at the narrowest points and 4-5 meters at the widest points. The natural canyon was dug over thousands of years by the water which progressively brought the lava body to light.
