Pululahua Geobotanical Reserve

Incredible Crater Landscape: The day begins with a visit to Pululahua, one of the few habited volcanic craters in the world. From the lookout point, you'll be amazed by the panoramic views of the crater, surrounded by lush green mountains and a breathtaking landscape that stretches to the horizon. Local Fauna and Flora: Throughout the tour, you'll experience the rich biodiversity of the area. Keep an eye out for local birds, such as the hummingbird, and marvel at the vibrant flora that brings the volcanic landscape to life.

Intinan Equator Museum

The Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World) is a famous monument located just north of Quito, marking the line that represents the equator. This site is known for its symbolic importance as the division between the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The monument, built in 1936, is an iconic landmark that attracts visitors from all over the world. At the Mitad del Mundo, you can stand with one foot in each hemisphere, experiencing the unique position where the Earth is divided into two equal parts. The surrounding area also includes museums and cultural displays that highlight Ecuador's geographical and scientific significance. One of the most craziets experiments is traying to balance an egg in the head of a nail. -the cost of admission to this museum is $5 for adults and $5 for children.
