Please note: During the peak season (Oct-May), the slots are quite limited. If you are traveling with companions, it is strongly recommended to make ONLY one reservation for your entire party
Maximum guide to customer ratio is 1:11
It is suggested to leave your bags and other valuable belongings (e.g. passport and wallet) at the operator’s office or inside your car
During the peak season (Nov-Mar), please make reservations in advance; if you’d like to travel together, please do not place orders separately
Please note that the availability, route and length of your scenic flight will be dependent on weather conditions on the day
All the activities are not available on Christmas Day

By car: 4.5 hour drive from Queenstown or 3 hour drive from Wanaka, 2 hour drive from Hokitika

There are no rental car services around the township of Fox Glacier, but there is a shuttle service called Glacier Shuttles and Charters Franz Josef 0800 999 739 that will take people to Lake Matheson and Gillespies Beach
